Dear Sir,
I acknowledge receipt of the applicant's letter of 29 December 2009
and accompanying form of authority entitling you to represent the
interests of the applicant before the Court. I note that the applicant
no longer wishes to be represented by MrKachanov and has withdrawn his
authority.
Copies of the above letter and the form of authority have been
transmitted to the Government for information.
I also acknowledge receipt of the applicant's letter of 30 December
2009 containing further submissions on the above application.
I note, however, that these submissions were not asked for by the
Court. That being so, the President of the Chamber has decided,
pursuant to Rule 38 S: 1 of the Rules of Court, that the submissions
shall not be included in the case file for the consideration of the
Court.
